Account Types and Services

Our account solutions include operational accounts, virtual accounts, safeguarding accounts, deposit accounts, and specialized financial service accounts. Each account type serves specific business and regulatory purposes.

Safeguarding accounts for fiduciary agreements

A fiduciary arrangement provides a bankruptcy-remote structure for fund management, offering exposure to AA-Moody's (minimum) rated institutions without requiring direct account relationships.

We maintain dedicated segregated accounts for fiduciary funds with separate ledger systems to ensure complete separation from other accounts. These accounts function as standard interest-bearing accounts with full access and management capabilities.

Safeguarding accounts are accounts that interface with your operational accounts. Funds can be transferred between these accounts as needed. The system performs configurable daily sweeps between the safeguarding account and a segregated fiduciary account in the bankruptcy-remote structure, providing both protection and operational flexibility.

Settlement lines

Settlement lines are supported on physical and virtual settlement accounts. They support a deficit on your account during the business day (intraday) or overnight. This solution allows you to meet your merchant funding obligations prior to receiving the liquidity for payment to them.

Account Holder Verification

Confirmation of Payee (CoP) & Verification of Payee (VoP) are services that verify the account holder details provided by the payer, against those held by the bank of the account holder being paid.

Through one integration via the API end-point ‘Account Holder Verification’ (AHV), you can verify account details across payment schemes.

Virtual accounts

Virtual Accounts (VIBANs) are externally addressable representations of payment accounts that link to physical Master Accounts where funds are settled. They can be configured for single or multi-currency operations, and can operate either under your name for reconciliation or under your customer's name for payments and collections services (POBO/COBO).
