Money Market Funds (MMFs) are used by corporates and financial institutions to manage excess cash while maintaining security and flexibility. Through Banking Circle, you can access and invest in our own share class of AAAmf rated MMFs, offered in collaboration with BlackRock, using your existing cash accounts with Banking Circle.

Required Access and Permissions
Before using the MMF functionality, users must ensure that the necessary legal addendums are signed and that they have the correct access rights. These permissions can be granted by the User Admin within your company:
- View MMF: Grants visibility of MMF products, holdings, and related information.
- Initiate MMF orders: Required to place Buy (subscriptions) and Sell (redemptions) orders for MMFs.
- Initiate Payments: Necessary for funding buy orders and receiving sell orders proceeds.
- MMF Account Access: Users must have access to the specific MMF-linked securities accounts within Banking Circle in order to place Buy (subscriptions) and Sell (redemptions) orders.
To access Money Market Funds:
- Log in to the Client Portal.
- On the left navigation menu, navigate to Money market fund.
- View your holdings and orders on the dashboard.
- To buy (subscriptions) or sell (redemptions), click the Place order button.

Placing a Money Market Fund order
To place an order, follow these steps:
- On the Money Market Fund dashboard, click Place order.
- In the order form, select Buy (subscriptions) or Sell (redemptions).
- Choose the Security account (e.g., BlackRock ICS Treasury Fund Banking Circle Dis).
- Select the MMF account that will be used for settlement.
- Enter the Nominal value of the trade.
- Review and click Place order to submit.

- Complete Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) as prompted using the Authy Twillio app.
- Once authorised, you’ll see a confirmation screen showing order details

Holdings and Orders Overview
The Holdings section displays all current investments in money market funds, showing details such as currency, owner, security, ISIN, number of shares, and market value. This provides a clear overview of your portfolio at a glance.
The Orders section lists all historical processed orders related to MMFs, including both buying (subscriptions) and selling (redemptions) orders. Each order shows key details like order date, security account, status (e.g., processed), number of shares, and amount.
Clicking on any order entry opens the Order detail drawer, where you can view the order information, status, and specifics for that individual transaction.
